A two days “Noise and Vibration conclave” from 24^th – 25^th August, 2023 was organised by I–Metro in association with CSIR – National Physical Laboratory at CSIR–NPL, New Delhi. The workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble MD, DMRC and Vice President & CEO, Indian Metro Rail Organizations’ Society on 24^th August, 2023 in the presence of Director, CSIR–NPL. A total of 30 participants from 12 metros participated in this conclave and appreciated the initiative. The conclave includes a dynamic brainstorming session on noise and vibration issues associated with metro trains particularly on the rolling stock suspension and isolation, track design, managing the rail-wheel interaction and building damage criteria.
