A one-day workshop on “Mass Rapid Transit System Security” was organised by I–Metro in collaboration with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Delhi on 22^nd September, 2023 at Delhi Metro Rail Academy, Delhi. The workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble MD, DMRC; Vice President & CEO, I–Metro along with Inspector General, CISF. A total of 100 participants from 12 metros members and CISF participated in this workshop and appreciated the initiative. The contents of the workshop included Security Matrix in Pan-India Metro Network, role of security agencies, best practices all over the world to overcome challenges, Contingencies in Metro and Contingency Planning, Conflict management/ Issues Faced by Management/stakeholders, Commuters, and its Redressal, steps for ensuring Women’s Security, Futuristic scope and challenges for Metro & Role of AI technology in Metro Security.
